Professional Photography Policy

 

We welcome professional photographers to share the beauty of the farm with their clients.  However, we must balance this with our other clients.  Please request permission before setting any client dates or arriving at the farm by emailing us at info@rockhillorchard.com at least seven days in advance, along with a signed copy of our Photography Agreement.  Please do not call us for permission, all reservations or rescheduling will be done via email.  The form should be presented at the Farm Market upon arrival along with payment BEFORE the session.

Cost:

  • $100.00 per 2 hour session during business hours.

  • $125.00 per session beginning before or extending after business hours (limited availability).

Sessions are not available on weekends from mid-September to late October.  During any periods when reservations are required, each person over the age of three will be required to purchase the minimum size bag of apples/peaches/etc.  No fruit/berries/flowers may be picked or used as props without purchase.

All photographers and clients are expected to be courteous and respectful of property, customers and activities while on the premises.  Rock Hill Orchard reserves the right to ask photographers and their clients to move or leave the premises if they are disruptive or non-compliant with our policies.  Photo shoots must not block any orchard activities such as customers’ picking, paths, equipment, roads, or buildings.  Do not leave any personal items unattended. This includes leaving material in the field between clients. We are not responsible for anything lost, broken, stolen, or left behind.

We will not direct your clients to you or entertain them while they are waiting for you. Please arrive with them or meet them in the parking area by the Farm Market.  Parking is allowed only in designated areas.

There shall be no unauthorized use of the Rock Hill Orchard/Woodbourne Creamery name or trademark and no expressed or implied endorsement of any product or service.  Published photos should credit the location to Rock Hill Orchard, Mount Airy, MD.
